Charlton Hall’s story began in 1878, when the Thorp family took ownership of the estate, caring for it over generations until 2017, when Richard Shell took over with a vision to restore and reimagine the site for a new era.
With a bold vision to create a unique wedding and events venue unlike any other in the area, Richard worked alongside the award-winning Jeffery’s interiors to create a bold and distinctive venue.
Blending heritage and tradition of the venue with contemporary interiors Richard’s vision came to life in the venue you see today. At Charlton Hall you’re not just visiting a venue – you’re becoming part of its story.
